When The Beaufort Charities
was conceived 25 years ago, the goal was to have a spring
golf event that was the premiere event of the year that
also raised money for local charities. The first goal was
achieved very early on. The Beaufort Charities is the largest
and most sought after invitation in golf in Beaufort County.
The raising of money
was steady in the first 15 years averaging $19,000 donated
annually. The last 10 years has seen a significant jump
in monies raised with an average of $26,000 per year. The
Beaufort Charities to date has donated $545,000+ to local
charities. Listed below is a sampling of local charities

that we have been able to donate to these local charities,
we are eager to grow our donation level while also including
more charities in our annual list of recipients. To meet
